ASCENSION

There is no future without process. No destiny without identity. This is the journey of life; traversing into the infinite pathways of His heart and our union. We are all in different phases of the transformative trek. This isn't a process that takes us from sinner to saint. It is glory to glory, faith to faith, strength to strength, and realm to realm.

When we first said yes to Jesus, we entered the Milk Phase. It is here, we were like infants learning to walk, talk, hold objects, and burp out some at times painful gas.

1 Peter 2:2-3 says, "Like newborn babies, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation-if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good."

Growing up into the head (Jesus) is influenced by tasting the goodness of God. This is the sweet nectar of life that will sustain you through any trials and circumstances. Lose sight of the goodness of God and you lose your ability to see. We live by faith, not sight. Hope is the ability to see in the heavenly realms.

Hebrews 5:12 says, "For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food."

What does the Milk Phase look like?

This is where we begin to understand the cross and how through it we were forgiven, made pure, and utterly redeemed. Here, we experience the grace of salvation, encounter the Father's love, and begin the journey of knowing Him as Father.
